It was 1966 when dormice were last recorded on Whitcliffe. We are pretty sure that they are still there but Shropshire Wildlife trust trainee Samantha Devine-Turner is to lead a walk to find the proof.
Anyone wishing to join Sam should meet at the car park at 10.30am on Saturday, February 11 wearing weatherproof footwear and clothing and bring your lunch with you.
You will be looking for hazelnuts that have been opened by the top being nibbled away in an almost surgical manner. please book a place with Sam by contacting her on samdt@shropshirewildlifetrust.org.uk
