Many Hands Make Light Work

Staff from Ludlow accountants, Whittingham Riddell spent Thursday, July 2 helping Friends of Whitcliffe Common and Shropshire Wildlife Trust clear the Bread Walk path.

“They have spent the day cutting back and removing undergrowth which had encroached into the path by as much as two feet along its entire length from Dinham Bridge to Mill Street weir. It’s a case of many hands make light work because it would have taken our handful of volunteers a very long time to achieve what they did in a day, said Rick Summers, volunteer organiser for FOWC.

“We are extremely grateful for all their hard work,” he added.
