Lantern Workshop and Gruffalo Walk

More than 40 children accompanied by parents and friends went in search of the elusive Gruffalo  on Whitcliffe on Saturday, November 1.

Three days earlier they had made lanterns during a workshop led by Sara Pearce from Shropshire Wildlife Trust held at The Assembly Rooms. Then with the lanterns suitably lit they used them to find the way on to Whitcliffe for games and a story-telling session before processing back along the Bread Walk in the dark.

Back at Dinham Bridge they were treated to hot chocolate, biscuits, and a firework display.
