Our thanks to all those who helped strew hay from an old  established meadow at Hayton just outside Ludlow over our common. The event had to be postponed twice because the donor meadow wasn’t ready for cutting but was eventually accomplished on July 30.

Hopefully next year we will all reap the benefits with an increase in the number of species of wild flowers on the common including the threatened green winged orchid.
