The Joint Presidents and the Trustees of the Friends of Whitcliffe Common were honoured by the Ludlow Town Council’s presentation of a Certificate of Merit at the annual Mayor-Making Ceremony held at the Assembly Rooms on 22nd May 2013.

This Civic Award acknowledged ‘the dedicated and excellent service given to the Community of Ludlow’ and was received by the present Chair of Trustees who was able to thank the Town Council, noting in particular Alan Poulton’s dedicated work when forming the original committee, and the role presently played by the charity’s many supporters.
